TERMS & CONDITIONS & PRIVACY POLICY - TY MAWR COLLECTION

1. Reservations
Please check that dates are available before paying a deposit.
A deposit of 25% of the holiday fee is payable on booking. If imposed restrictions forbid travel to the area or from the person's booking area the booking can be moved to another date up to 24 months in advance or a refund can be issued.
The balance of the fee must be paid no less than 21 days prior to the commencement of the holiday.
For bookings made less than 4 weeks before arrival, the total amount is payable in full on booking.
Payment details can be found at the bottom of the booking form.
The contract is deemed to have been made once the guest has paid a deposit and a final confirmation of booking has been dispatched. The "Named" guest must be over 18 years at the time of booking.

2. Arrival and Departure
The properties (unless otherwise agreed in advance) are available for occupation from 4.00 pm on the first day of the holiday and must be vacated by 10.00 am on the final day.

3. Cancellation
Fees will be returnable, subject to deduction of the deposit, if written cancellation is received at any time prior to 4 weeks before the start of the holiday.
If imposed restrictions forbid travel to the area or from the person's booking area the booking can be moved to another date up to 24 months in advance.
If you cancel within 4 weeks from the start date of the holiday you will be responsible for the payment of the full fees, unless it is due to imposed restrictions which forbid travel to the area or from the person's booking area then the booking can be moved to another date up to 24 months in advance.
Cancellations must be notified in writing (including by email) immediately they occur. We will endeavour to re-let the property and if successful will allow the guest to transfer to alternate dates.

4. Cancellation Insurance
It is recommended that holiday protection plan insurance be taken out against cancellation for reasons outside your control (including sickness and bad weather).

5. Property and Safety
All property which a guest brings to the selected cottage of The Ty Mawr Collection is brought entirely at their own risk and the proprietors cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to the property of any guest, nor do they accept any liability to any guest except such is imposed by Statute. During a holiday, or when a guest is not on the property, the proprietors of Ty Mawr Collection do not accept responsibility for any injury which is incurred.

6. Pets
Two well behaved dogs are very welcome, (except in the Coach) but not puppies under 12 months of age. Please contact us if you would like to discuss bringing other/more pets. Pets are charged at £20 each.
Pets should be well behaved, kept under control at all times and not left unattended in the cottages. Owners must clean up after their dogs at all times and the waste disposed of in the dog waste bins provided. Pets are not permitted on the furniture.
Owners should provide their own bedding and bowls.
All pets must be up to date with flea and worming treatments.
Your dog can scare or harm farm animals, so you are advised to keep it on a lead around livestock but let go if chased by cattle. You should always follow the Countryside Code.

7. Smoking
All of the Ty Mawr Collection Cottages are strictly non-smoking.

8. Electric Vehicles
Charging of Electric Vehicles/Bikes/Scooters from the cottages is forbidden. An EV charging point is provided in the on site car park.

9. General
If bringing a baby please bring baby bedding and towels.
Please advise if there is a change to the number of people using the accommodation. Please note that no more than the advertised maximum numbers for the accommodation may use the property.
Guests should not cause nuisance or annoyance to occupants of nearby property. The use of Fireworks and Chinese Lanterns are strictly forbidden.
All ball games are prohibited in the inner and outer courtyards, but are welcomed in the adjoining park.
Please leave the accommodation in good order, as found - the "Named" person responsible for the initial booking, will be held responsible for any breakages and damage.
All breakages and damage must be notified immediately and must be paid for before departure. A charge will be made if the property is left in a poor condition. We do not take a damage deposit and trust guests to abide by this condition.
If any person is not suitable to continue their occupation of the property because of unreasonable behaviour, damage or nuisance to other parties, the contract may be treated as discharged and the property repossessed immediately. The guest will remain liable for the whole cost of rental and no refund shall be due.

The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, financial and credit card information, personal description and photograph, dietary requirements and family make-up.

Ty Mawr Collection is a member of Premier Cottages Limited, a professional collective of independent luxury cottage owners. Premier Cottages promotes our properties on our behalf as well as other luxury cottages. As members of Premier Cottages we would like to give them your information so that they can contact you about other quality properties that you might like. You may unsubscribe from this service at any time.

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • Information you give to us. We will use this information:
  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us;
  • to provide you with information about other goods and services we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or inquired about;
  • to provide you, or permit Premier Cottages Limited to provide you, with information about goods or services we feel may interest you:
    • If you are an existing customer, we will contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale or negotiations of a sale to you.
    • If you are a new customer we and Premier Cottages Limited will contact you by electronic means if you have consented to this by clicking the relevant ‘submit’ button on the form our website where you enter your information. If you do not want us to use your data in this way, or to pass your details on to Premier Cottages for marketing purposes, please un-tick the relevant box situated on the form on which we collect your data (which include the online booking form where we have one on our site, and our contact and registration forms);

It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
